From you PASSION to ours

The Logistics Shipping Clerk will be responsible for effectively managing communication between customers, transportation carriers, and the Company. The individual will provide daily support through the answering of phones; processing BOL’s, signing out drivers, filing of BOL’S, creating UPS tracking numbers for shipments, data entry and data management, shipping supplies inventory and ordering, and assist with daily DC office tasks.

Key responsibilities for this position include:

· Responsible for answering phone calls and providing customer assistance

· Responsible for correctly signing out drivers

· Accountable for processing all BOL’s

· Responsible for accurately communicating all carrier arrivals to DC supervision.

· Responsible for computer data entry and file maintenance.

· Actively maintain Logistics logs and keep information up to date

· File BOL’S in number sequence for easy access if that shipment is needed.

· Need to create UPS tracking numbers within UPS shipping network.

· Participates in the process of keeping the shipping office in efficient working order

Ideally incumbent will possess a minimum of a High School Diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Specialized Knowledge:

Computer Skills -To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office software, good email communications, and Inventory management software experience preferred, but not required.

Sign On Bonus & Pay:

We are offering a $2,000* Hiring Bonus to candidates for hourly positions. *Bonus amount is a gross amount. $1,000 will be paid out in following paycheck 90 days after hire; an additional $1,000 will be paid out in following paycheck 180 days after hire. Temporary, part-time and certain rehired employees are not eligible.
