The Contracts Attorney must have significant and demonstrable corporate and commercial experience. You will be a key member of the Legal Department, responsible for a variety of matters including commercial contracts and related support. You would also be counted on to bring a high degree of order (contract management, filing, tracking, reporting) to the Legal Department.

As a Contracts Attorney supporting efforts for Pansophic Learning, you will handle a variety of tasks including:

  • Administration: Manage the end-to-end contract administration process, to include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating vendor contracts, independent contractor agreements, end-user license agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and other legal documents.
  • Tracking: Track key dates in contracts, timely inform internal business team members and renew agreements when needed.
  • Documentation: Maintain contractual records and documentations and ensure procedures are in place for control of all contract correspondence, contractual changes, status reports and other documents for all assigned projects. Conduct periodic audits/reviews of same.
  • Risk Management: Identify and assess potential contractual risks and provide strategic advice to the key stakeholders. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to protect company interests.
  • Relationship Management: Cultivate strong cross-functional internal and external relationships to ensure and foster the highest level of service and communication.

About You

  • Law degree required.
  • Strong understanding of contract law.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency using internally-developed and third-party contract management software.
  • Creativity, flexibility and enthusiasm
  • Ability to eventually work independently with minimal supervision
  • Minimum of 5 years related experience
