Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist

Type: Full-time

Shift: Three 12-hour shifts per week, including every other weekend

Salary Range: $57,470 to $86,205 annually

We are a 25-bed multi-specialty medical clinic and rehabilitation center nestled in the picturesque town of Craig, Colorado, just 45 miles west of Steamboat Springs. We offer comprehensive healthcare services including Level IV emergency care, inpatient care, surgery, diagnostic imaging, a special care unit, and more. Job Overview:


We are seeking a dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide expert respiratory care to patients of all ages across a variety of settings including emergency, neonatal, pediatric, geriatric, and critical care. This role requires a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care, education, and participation in our multidisciplinary team.


Responsibilities:


  • Provide comprehensive respiratory care services under the supervision of a physician, ensuring patient needs are met.
  • Competently deliver all respiratory care procedures as outlined in department policies.
  • Maintain accurate and complete documentation of all procedures.
  • Collaborate in multidisciplinary patient care rounds and provide education to patients and caregivers.
  • Engage in continuous professional development and contribute to departmental activities to promote operational efficiency and service expansion.


Qualifications:


  • High School Diploma or equivalent; graduate from an accredited Respiratory Care Program.
  • Must hold a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential and be licensed in the state of Colorado.
  • Current BLS certification required; NRP certification desired within 6 months of hire.
  • Preferably one year of experience with thorough knowledge in general respiratory care and mechanical ventilation.
  • Additional certifications in pulmonary and cardiac diagnostics are a plus.
