Summary:

Esposito Construction is looking for a Staff Accountant to join our team. The Staff Accountant will support the Accounting Department by maintaining accurate records on a daily basis as well as assisting on special projects, as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Reconcile vendor payable statements
  • Handle all payable related inquiries from employees and managers
  • Review payables reporting for accuracy
  • Enter daily bank transactions
  • Reconcile bank accounts
  • Manage company credit card expense reports
  • Manage/Monitor daily check registers
  • New job setup, budget imports
  • Scan and file documents electronically
  • Other miscellaneous tasks assisting accounting department


Qualifications:

  • Self-starter who is organized, personable and reliable
  • 1-2 years accounting experience or intern experience 
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to deliver high-quality work
  • Skilled in MS Office including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Ability to work under pressure and multi-task
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team
  • Willingness to take on additional responsibilities as needed
  • Willingness to adapt to change
  • HH2 and or Acumatica software a plus
  • Mobile Applications/Tech savvy a plus
  • Experience in the construction industry a plus
