The Clinical Director is responsible for the supervision of the clinical staff. They consult with the Executive Director, Director of Nursing, provides any information relevant to the program’s operation and assist in developing and modifying the program as a whole. They monitor documentation by the clinical staff in order to ensure that documentation is maintained at the highest level and is responsible to provide 24-hour management of the clinical function of the facility.


· Staff an integrated care team to deliver outpatient addiction programs.

· Provide clinical oversight for therapists, case managers, and group facilitators.

· Conducts annual performance reviews for all clinical staff.

· Oversees clinical charting and documentation to maintain the highest standards of quality and effectiveness.

· Plan, participates in, and direct the interdisciplinary training and development program for all clinical staff.

· Assists with the formation of patient treatment plans consistent with treatment protocols and best practices.

· Evaluate the effectiveness of program policies and procedures.

· Ensure that clients are admitted to appropriate levels of care based on clinical needs, social factors, and insurance requirements.

· Coordinates with Utilization Review Department to ensure appropriate insurance authorizations

Requirements:

A minimum of 2 years administrative and management setting familiarity, with Performance Improvement and JCAHO Standards necessary. Communication skills to relate to all levels of management staff. Self-motivated and confident Application of Continuous Quality Improvement/ Performance Improvement philosophy and ability to develop organizational strategy.


Knowledge of Psychopathology, Diagnostic Assessment and Chemical Dependency treatment

Education:

  • Master's in counseling, social work, psychology, human services, or related mental health field (Required)
  • LPC, LMFT, or LCSW TN State licensure (Required)
