Join Our Team as an Automotive Mechanic
Absolute Auto Repairs and Sales in Port Matilda, PA. is currently seeking a skilled (experienced) and knowledgeable Automotive Mechanic/Technician to join our team. As an Auto Tech with us, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicles, ensuring they are safe and reliable for our customers.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks
- Determine the cause of vehicle malfunctions and repair them in a timely manner - MUST BE ABLE TO PERFORM DIAGNOSTICS OF COMMON ISSUES; wheel bearing noise, suspension noises...
- Inspect vehicles to identify potential issues and recommend necessary repairs
- Test drive vehicles to ensure proper functioning after repairs
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Keep detailed records of all work performed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- PA Emissions and Safety Licenses
- Valid Drivers License
- Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic/Technician - in a professional shop
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems and components
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills
Full Time Position, granted 40 hrs weekly. Pay will depend on your skill and ability to perform repairs in a timely manner. Production bonuses will start after 90 days, or sooner after management review of your production. Paid vacation, paid holidays. Other benefits will be available.
