Job Description


CCT is recruiting an energetic, confident, and experienced individual to join our growing team. We are searching for someone who has a passion for excellence and a proven ability to inspire that passion in others.


As a Maintenance Technician, you are responsible for the operation and maintenance of lines on assigned shift, as well as programming, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining plant equipment in a timely, cost-effective manner consistent with established operations procedures and requirements.


Responsibilities

  • Troubleshooting & maintaining production & other plant machinery including electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, & hydraulic equipment
  • Troubleshoot & comprehend PLCs, controls, meters, & sensor hardware
  • Read & understand electrical schematics, ladder logic, and PID
  • Assist in the identification of design enhancements that can be made to improve equipment reliability
  • Install electrical, electronic parts & mechanical components, and assemblies in machines
  • Assist in the installation of new machinery & equipment
  • Report broken/inoperable/unsafe equipment and perform equipment repairs
  • Maintain ongoing necessary/required training, certifications, & education
  • Maintain building and structures
  • Comply with company rules & policies including & adherence to SOPs, and maintain the safety, efficiency, & productivity of equipment & plant operations
  • Perform preventive maintenance on plant equipment and update PM system
  • Work as a team player with other members of the department
  • Complete all service requests in a timely manner
  • Perform troubleshooting and repairs on mechanical systems
  • Maintain the preventative maintenance schedule
  • Handle emergency service calls after business hours on an on-call rotation
  • Repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, or electronic components of electric equipment, using standard tools and gages
  • Perform mechanical maintenance and building maintenance as required, motorized lifts and machine tools such as lathe mills, grinders, etc.
  • Maintain work area in a clean, orderly, & safe manner
  • Adhere to all environmental, health & safety requirements & procedures
  • Support safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Assist and support other team members in meeting department and site goals
  • Participate and share in performing all tasks necessary to run the facility
  • Demonstrate respect for the Company’s values daily, maintain and uphold all policies & procedures
  • Completion of any specific projects assigned
  • Other duties as needed/required to meet company goals


Requirements:
  • High school diploma, GED, trade school, or combination of training and experience
  • Industrial manufacturing technician work experience Working knowledge of AB/Rockwell Automation programming software including, but not limited to, RSLogix 500 & 5000, Factory Talk View Studio, and PanelBuilder32
  • Proven experience working with AC/DC circuits, single and three-phase wiring, motor starters, relays, and relay logic, PLCs, PID loop control
  • Working knowledge of Omrons Sysmac Studio programming software
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Able to work overtime, including short-notice requests
  • Ability to multitask within a structured environment
  • Extraordinary organization skills, strong time management skills, and exceptional communication skills
  • Ability to follow electrical schematics and drawings
  • Possess the highest standards of accuracy and attention to detail in a dynamic, multitasking environment
  • Capacity to work with limited supervision, independently, and as a team member
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
