The Pedder Automotive Group was founded in 2008 by Owner David Pedder. The family owned and operated dealer group has 7 dealerships in Southern California, representing Nissan, Hyundai, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram brands. The seven (7) locations are – Pedder Nissan, Raceway Nissan, Temecula Nissan, Hemet CDJR, Lake Elsinore CDJR, Pedder Hyundai of Poway, and Pedder CDR+J of Poway.


As an Automotive Commercial/Fleet Department Assistant, you will provide crucial administrative support to the Poway CDJR Commercial/Fleet Department. Your primary responsibilities will include coordinating vehicle deliveries, and maintaining commercial/fleet vehicles ready for sale from the time of delivery. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with the Commercial Director, and other department members to ensure smooth operations and exceptional customer service. Your attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to multitask will be essential in this role to contribute to the efficient functioning of the Commercial/Fleet Department.

Requirements:

What you'll do:

  • Customer Support: Respond to inquiries from commercial clients regarding fleet vehicle options, pricing, and availability, providing accurate and timely information to assist with their purchasing decisions.
  • Documentation Management: Maintain records of fleet sales transactions, including contracts, invoices, and delivery schedules, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Coordination of Deliveries: Coordinate with logistics teams and clients to schedule and facilitate the delivery of fleet vehicles, ensuring on-time arrivals and smooth handovers.
  • Vehicle Preparation: Physically prepare fleet vehicles from the time of delivery to the time of sale, ensuring they meet quality standards and customer expectations. This may include tasks such as cleaning, detailing, and minor maintenance to present vehicles in optimal condition for commercial clients.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate closely with sales representatives, fleet managers, and other departments to facilitate effective communication and coordination of activities related to commercial/fleet sales, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.

Who you are:

  • Administrative Skills: Proficiency in administrative tasks such as record-keeping, scheduling, and correspondence management is essential. Candidates should demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively to support the smooth operation of the Commercial/Fleet Department.
  • Customer Service Experience: Prior experience in a customer service role, particularly within the automotive industry or a related field, is beneficial. Candidates should possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with commercial clients and internal stakeholders to address inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
  • Adaptability and Fast-paced Environment: The ability to quickly learn and adapt to new processes, software systems, and industry trends is crucial.
