The Le Meridien Sheraton Charlotte Hotel is currently seeking dynamic and motivated individuals for the position of PBX/ AYS Supervisor position to join our team at our StepStone Hospitality managed hotel. As a Supervisor you will maintain supervision over all staff as well as assist with guest service requests that may arise.


Weekdays, weekends, and holidays are required. 1st shift is 7am to 3:30pm and 3pm-11:30pm


The responsibilities:

· Maintains proper supervision over all command center staff, ensuring that shift changes occur as scheduled.

· Oversees all problem resolution matters in the absence of Assistant Guest Services Manager.

· Respond and resolve guest requests, complaints, or questions in a courteous and timely manner.

· Ensuring that AM and PM checklists are completed for all command center associates.

· Answer hotel switchboard, transfer calls to guest rooms or other hotel facilities as requested.

· Deal with telephone related requests from groups such as special extensions for calls, messages, etc.

· Receive and relay messages to hotel guests and departments.

· Communicate requests of hotel guests to appropriate departments to ensure guest satisfaction.

· Handle emergency procedures such as calling fire department, paramedics, police, etc.

· Immediately alert hotel management via all communication avenues when an emergency occurs.

· Ability to accurately use various office software.

· Additional responsibilities may apply from the Director of Front Office.



Requirements:

Prior hotel experience preferred.
