Looking for a dynamic and motivated Used Car Sales Consultant to join the team at Feldman 1-800-Preowned.com

As a Used Car Sales Consultant, you will work closely with customers to understand their needs and help them find the perfect pre-owned vehicle. Our team is dedicated to providing exceptional customer service and helping customers find a vehicle that fits both their need and budget. You will work closely with our team to ensure that every customer has a positive experience and drives away in a vehicle they love.

At Feldman 1-800-Preowned.com, we offer one of the most aggressive pay plans in the industry, with uncapped earning potential. In addition, we provide ongoing training and support to help you succeed in your role.

Sales experience is preferred but not required – we value candidates who are outgoing and personable, with a natural talent for building relationships and communicating effectively.

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong work ethic, be self-motivated and customer-focused, and have excellent communication skills. You should also have a passion for people and an interest in the automotive industry.

Responsibilities

  • Approach, greet, and offer assistance or direction to any customer who enters the dealership showroom or sales lot. 

  • Assist customers in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses.

  • Explain product performance, application, and benefits to prospects.

  • Describe all optional equipment available for customer purchase.

  • Build strong rapport with customers. 

  • Perform high-quality, professional, and knowledgeable presentation and demonstration of new/used vehicles. 

  • Learn to overcome objections, close sales, and perform all other steps of the sales process in accordance with company standards.

  • Report to the Sales Manager regarding objectives, planned activities, reviews, and analysis

Requirements

  • No Automotive experience is required

  • Comfortable with compensation based on commission sales

  • Enthusiastic with high energy throughout the sales workday

  • Outgoing with a friendly personality, especially while handling objections & negotiating pricing

  • Have quality customer service skills

  • Possess strong communication skills

  • Must have a clean & valid driver’s license
