We are seeking a dedicated Human Resources/Payroll Coordinator to join our team The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting various HR functions and ensuring the smooth operation of HR and payroll processes

Overview:
Provides HR and payroll support across all office locations. Assists the Human Resources Director with advanced administrative tasks, including managing databases and producing detailed reports.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the daily operations of HR functions and payroll responsibilities.
  • Manage and maintain employee payroll records with accuracy.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of timecards for payroll processing.
  • Regularly audit and update HRIS databases.
  • Process off-cycle payrolls as needed for corrections or adjustments, including on-demand checks and final pay, ensuring compliance with company policies and state regulations.
  • Serve as the point of contact for employees regarding inquiries about timekeeping, paychecks, benefits, and leave.
  • Oversee the recruitment and hiring process by collaborating with managers to attract, hire, and onboard new employees.
  • Conduct new hire orientations, both in-person and virtually, for multiple office locations, ensuring all onboarding tasks and documentation are completed and entered into the systems.
  • Coordinate and participate in recruitment events such as job fairs and college visits.
  • Maintain both digital and physical employee records, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Track and maintain records of employee training and certifications.
  • Investigate, document, and report employee injuries and accidents, initiating appropriate actions when needed.
  • Coordinate the maintenance and management of the company’s vehicle fleet.
  • Plan and support company-wide meetings and events, including open enrollment, new hire orientation, and company events.
  • Provide clerical and administrative support as needed.
  • Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational abilities with keen attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
  • Solid understanding of HR principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Excellent time management skills with a track record of meeting deadlines.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently, while also being a collaborative team player.
  • Strong follow-up skills, with the ability to comprehend tasks, adapt to process changes, and demonstrate a strong sense of responsibility and ownership.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
  • At least two years related experience required.


Pay Range: $20.00 - $26.50 per hour

Working Conditions

This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. Must be able to sit and work on a computer for extended periods of time.
