This is a full-time position in a public school with retirement and full benefits. Instructional Assistants partner with the classroom teachers in every aspect of the educational experience. ABOUT EAST COOPER MONTESSORI CHARTER SCHOOL (ECMCS)
Established in 2003, we are a premier public Montessori school that serves 450 students from 3 years old through 8th grade. We value people and invest in them. QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN INSTRUCTIONAL ASSISTANT
- Experience in teaching or managing students
- True passion for growing students' abilities
- College degree preferred
Experience with elementary students is preferred, but multiple factors will be considered. Are you skilled in interpersonal relations with students, parents, teachers, staff, and the general public? Do you have outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal? Do you love the art of education and instructional design? Are you team-oriented? Are you compassionate and caring while able to maintain professional boundaries? If so, you might be perfect for the instructional assistant position
WORK SCHEDULE
This is a full-time position. Hours are 7:30-3:15.
