Summary
Under direction of the Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance Helper is responsible for maintaining a clean environment inside and outside the space of each location. They will assist with routine general maintenance items and handle custodial work duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Keeps sidewalks clean and employee walkways clear
- Removes snow and debris from sidewalks
- Sweeps, mops, scrubs, and vacuums hallways, stairs and office space
- Empties garbage inside and outside the facility
- Wipes up kitchen countertops and tables
- Changes lightbulbs and wipes down shop lights
- Maintains grass and landscaping at all locations
- Performs general building maintenance tasks as needed
Qualifications: Education and/or Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Previous custodial experience preferred
