Our client is an established Non Profit seeking a Junior Accountant. This is a temp to perm opportunity.

This role will be responsible for the accounts payable cycle and support general ledger and financial reporting functions.

This is a hybrid schedule, 2 days onsite.

Essential Functions

  • Review expense report claims for reimbursements.
  • Perform credit card account reconciliations, account analysis, accrual calculations, and other related accounting documents/schedules.
  • Responsible for month-end, quarter-end and year-end close for assigned functional areas.
  • Prepare journal entries related to assigned functional responsibilities.
  • Review and research accounting transactions for functional areas.
  • Process payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
  • Process payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
  • Investigate, return PRs and reissue bounced ACH, Bank Draft and outstanding checks
  • Monitor vendor accounts to ensure payments are up-to-date.
  • Maintenance of balance sheet support schedules and research of reconciling items.
  • · Assist with preparation and distribution of 1099's
