Job Summary:As the Lead DevOps Engineer, you will be at the forefront of designing, implementing, and managing the cloud infrastructure utilizing AWS and Azure. Key Responsibilities:- Cloud Infrastructure Management: Architect, deploy, and manage AWS and Azure infrastructure, covering compute, storage, networking, and security services.
- Automation & CI/CD: Develop and sustain CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment processes, boosting operational efficiency and minimizing deployment times.
- Monitoring & Optimization: Implement monitoring solutions to track system performance and reliability, optimizing cloud resources for cost-effectiveness and peak performance.
- Security & Compliance: Ensure cloud environments comply with security best practices and regulatory requirements, managing security controls and data protection measures.
- Collaboration: Work in synergy with development, QA, and operations teams to support application deployment and scaling, offering guidance on best practices and troubleshooting.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Employ tools like Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or Azure Resource Manager to manage and provision infrastructure via code.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for cloud infrastructure, deployment processes, and best practices.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience: At least 5 years in DevOps or a related role, with extensive experience in AWS and Azure.
- Certifications: Highly desirable certifications include AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, and Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert.
- Proficiency in AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC) and Azure services (e.g., VM, Blob Storage, SQL Database, Azure Functions).
- Strong experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps Pipelines).
- Expertise in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, Azure Resource Manager).
