for a 6-months contract position in Alpharetta GA (onsite)

Responsibilities:


  • Manage and secure Linux servers in a production setting
  • Implement, configure, and support Apigee, Zookeeper, and Cassandra
  • Familiarity with cloud architecture and middleware (IIS/Tomcat/Apache) is a plus
  • Experience with OpenShift (Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines (GIT HUB/Jenkins) is a strong asset
  • Automate tasks with Python or shell scripting for efficiency
  • Troubleshoot network configurations (DNS, Load Balancers, Proxies, firewalls)
  • Manage and administer SSL/TLS certificates
  • Debug and troubleshoot Java applications, analyze thread and TCP dumps
  • Analyze and solve complex issues, developing strategic solutions
Qualifications:


  • Strong hands-on experience with Linux environments
  • Proven experience with Apigee, Zookeeper, and Cassandra (setup, administration, and troubleshooting)
  • Understanding of cloud-based architecture is a plus
  • Experience with OpenShift (Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines is a strong asset
  • Skilled in scripting (Python/shell) for automation
  • Solid understanding of networking principles and technologies
  • Experience with certificate management and configuration
  • Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills
  • Analytical and results-oriented with a focus on solutions
