Essential Accountabilities: The position incumbent ensures, that

  • Assist in month end closing activities including journal entry preparation
  • Perform monthly account reconciliations and general ledger activities.
  • Perform monthly intercompany and account reconciliations & necessary invoicing and general ledger activities.
  • Responsible for company leasing program; track, log and monitor company leases.
  • Support with month end financial reporting and resolving discrepancies identified by Headquarter
  • Responsible for payroll and employee benefit accounting and reconciling with Payroll/HR department
  • Responsible for managing vendor accounts related to rent, benefits, utilities and lease contracts
  • Collaborate with cross functional departments to ensure accuracy and completeness of operating expenses
  • Assist with the implementation and maintain and adhere to internal controls under SOX 404(b) and policies and procedures.
  • Support with internal and external audit request

Secondary Accountabilities: The position incumbent ensures, that

  • Conduct all business-related activities for, and on the behalf of, Eberspaecher within the limits of applicable local, state, and federal legal requirements.
  • Provide support to, and compliance with, all local and corporate Eberspaecher Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies, procedures and other HSE related requirements.
  • Quality - Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and follows all ENA polices related to TS16949 and ISO 14001; looks for way to improve and promote quality.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirement Profile:

Professional Background / Basic Qualification / Work Experience:

  • Associates degree in Accounting/Financing or closely related field or equivalent (high school diploma and 4 yrs. Accounting experience).
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in general accounting and or CAPEX role.
  • Experience in SAP for working for a manufacturing supplier preferably automotive a plus.
  • Ability to be self-motivated with minimum supervision & work independently as part of a high-performing team
  • To perform this job successfully, the candidate needs be proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • A proven record of accomplishment in prior roles.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage time amid multiple deadlines.
  • Capability to work well with peers in all other functional departments in a collaborative and team manner.
  • Previous working for a manufacturing supplier preferably automotive.
  • Ability to travel domestically by car or plane.

Technical Expertise:

  • Ability to apply mathematical concepts and operations, including calculations, percentages, etc.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos, and write simple correspondence.
  • Analytical- Synthesize complex or diverse information; Collects and researches data; Uses intuition and experience to complement data; Designs work flows and procedures.
