Job Description:The Data Entry Specialist is responsible for the daily processing of incoming checks from other institutions and over-the-counter work.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Enthusiastic self-starter who effectively works under supervision
  • Results-oriented, structured professional who sets and achieves goals and objectives within deadlines
  • Strong team player who enjoys working with and helping other team members
  • Effective problem-solver who carefully analyzes issues determines root causes and implements solutions

  • Provide excellent service to customers by accurately and efficiently processing transactions
  • Assist in resolving routine and complex IP issues including out-of-balance transactions
  • Verify and clear branches for release
  • Assist in researching and processing adjustments internally
  • Efficiently sort and process lockbox payment transactions as needed
  • Help identify process improvements and assist with revising departmental procedure documentation as needed
  • Competently utilize the Bank’s Image/IP systems and processes
  • Help ensure all IP equipment is well-maintained and operational

Education:HS Diploma or equivalent
Qualifications:
  • 1-2+ years’ previous experience with image/IP systems and processes at a financial institution preferred
  • Ability to use 10-key equipment at 10,000 strokes per hour with an error rate of less than 1%
  • Successful completion of a credit history check
  • Enthusiastic self-starter who effectively works under supervision
  • Results-oriented, structured professional who sets and achieves goals and objectives within deadlines
  • Strong team player who enjoys working with and helping other team members
  • Effective problem-solver who carefully analyzes issues determines root causes and implements solutions
  • Process-oriented team member with a passion for continuous
