Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and visionary General Manager to lead our custom stone countertop business and oversee multiple sites in the future. As the General Manager, you will be responsible for driving growth, operational excellence, and strategic direction across all aspects of our custom stone countertop operations. Your exceptional leadership skills, industry expertise, and business acumen will enable you to shape the future success of our organization in the highly specialized field of custom stone countertops.

Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive business strategy to drive growth, enhance profitability, and expand market share in the custom stone countertop industry.
  2. Operational Excellence: Implement and optimize operational processes and procedures to ensure the highest level of craftsmanship, attention to detail, and customer satisfaction in the fabrication and installation of custom stone countertops.
  3. Team Management: Build and lead a high-performing team of artisans, designers, and project managers, fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, and excellence.
  4. Financial Management: Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting, ensuring financial targets are met or exceeded while maintaining the highest quality standards.
  5. Customer Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with discerning clients, architects, and interior designers, understanding their unique needs, and delivering exceptional customer service to drive customer loyalty and referral business.
  6. Industry Expertise: Stay abreast of industry trends, new materials, and design innovations in custom stone countertops, leveraging your knowledge to identify new business opportunities and position the company as a leader in the market.
  7. Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations, safety standards, and legal requirements to uphold the highest standards of craftsmanship and workplace safety.

Requirements:

  1. Industry Experience: Minimum of 7 years of progressive leadership experience in the custom stone countertop industry, with a deep understanding of the intricacies of fabrication, installation, and customization for high-end projects.
  2. Business Acumen: Demonstrated ability to drive business growth, optimize operations, and make strategic decisions to achieve financial targets while maintaining the highest level of quality and craftsmanship.
  3. Leadership Skills: Proven experience in leading and developing highly skilled teams of artisans, designers, and project managers, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
  4. Strategic Thinking: Strong strategic planning and execution skills, with the capability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities, anticipate industry trends, and drive the company's competitive position in the custom stone countertop market.
  5. Customer Focus: Customer-centric mindset with excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain strong relationships with discerning clients, architects, and interior designers, ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer experiences.
  6. Operational Excellence: Experience in implementing and optimizing specialized operational processes, quality control measures, and project management methodologies to deliver flawless custom stone countertop projects on time and within budget.
  7. Multi-Site Management: Prior experience in overseeing multiple sites or projects simultaneously is highly desirable, demonstrating the ability to manage and coordinate complex operations and ensure consistent quality across different locations.
