We are seeking a full-time Senior Corporate Accountant to join LTD Commodities, a division of ASC Brands, LLC As a premier company in Chicago, Illinois, we have become a trusted industry leader.


The Senior Corporate Accountant will contribute to the financial integrity and efficiency of ASC Brands by diligently managing the financial records, analyzing data, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with colleagues to support accurate financial reporting, provide insightful analysis and informed decision making. To succeed in this role, the candidate will possess excellent time management and communication skills in addition to being self-motivated and willing to take the initiative.

What will you be responsible for?

  • Oversees an accounting operations team and fosters a culture of continuous improvement through teamwork, training, feedback, and process enhancements
  • Prepares consolidated internal and external financial statements by gathering and analyzing information
  • Prepares general ledger entries by maintaining records and files as well as reconciling accounts
  • Inspects the design, documentation and controls of the systems and transactions
  • Analyzes information and options by developing spreadsheet reports
  • Develops and implements accounting procedures by analyzing current procedures using General Accounting Principles (GAP)
  • Able to research accounting standards and draft accounting policies
  • Answers accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data
  • Protects the organizations value by keeping information confidential
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities
  • Assist with preparing corporate tax returns
  • Assist with insurance and risk management
  • Assist with special projects and perform other related duties as needed

What experience should you have?

  • CPA (Certified Public Accountant) certification
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SAP ECC 6.0
  • A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
  • Knowledge of Accounting Principles
  • Ability to analyze data and interpret complex information
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workload and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate across departments
  • Willingness to adapt to changing regulations, technologies, and organizational needs in the accounting field
