Job DescriptionJob Description

Our client is looking for a Finance Controller for their facility located in North Carolina. The Finance Controller will play a critical role in overseeing financial operations and providing strategic guidance to support the company's growth and success.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage all aspects of financial reporting, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.
  • Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard financial assets.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for review by senior management.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and strategic decision-making.
  • Lead the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors.
  • Manage cash flow, working capital, and capital expenditure budgeting.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to improve operational efficiency and profitability.
  • Mentor and develop finance team members to foster a high-performing culture.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, economic developments, and regulatory changes impacting the business.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting roles.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
  • Experience working in manufacturing or industrial environments preferred.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software applications.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven leadership abilities, with the capability to inspire and motivate team members.
