TRISTAR is seeking several Electrical/Electronic Engineer III for our upcoming government customer in Crane, IN


Position Description:

  • Seeking Electrical/Electronics Engineer III with skills and ability to define radar subsystem test requirements, Design/Develop test systems, and led/mentor inspiring engineering talent

Position Responsibilities:

  • Senior Radio Frequency RF/Electronics Engineer to perform in the Lead Engineering Role on the Test Set development program with the Advanced Radars Portfolio, including but not limited to, the SLQ-32(V) 7 SEWIP BLK3 Low Band Transmit SLat Array (LBTx), Low Band Receive Slat Aray (LBRx), and High Band Receive (HBRx) Aperture Assembly, and the High Band Transmit (HBTx) Aperture Assembly.
  • Lead a team of Engineers and technicians through the development process as well as provide aid in the test stationdesign and development
  • Utilize Advanced Radars groups common test set architecture and takes the model-based systems engineering design approach along with using the Systems engineering Technical Review (SETR) process.There is also a repair component to the capabilities stand up.
  • adhere to processes and the TEchnical team in development of repair processes and analyzing the extent to which repairs can be performed on these specific LRUs.
  • Understanding of RF systems, including RF amploifiers and antennas.
  • Understanding standard lab test equipment, such as power supplies and digital mult-meters, and understanding specialized RF test equipment, including Vector Network Analyzers and Spectrum Analyzers.
  • Understand the development of interface circuit boards, that include multi-layer printed circuit boards, deriving requirements from Technical Data Packages and from test set system requirements.
  • Understand systeme interfaces and work with various engineers to develop system wiring diagrams. Provide system wiring updates and changes to system engineers and reveiw changes in the Cameo systems modeler.
  • RF testing and analysis experience.

Position Requirements:

  • Must be a US Citizen
  • An Active Secret Clearance is required or be able to obtain and maintain a government-issued security clearance of secret or higher, interim may be required before starting

Radar Education and Certification:

  • BS degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
