**Job Summary:**
We are seeking an organized and customer-focused Optical Receptionist to join our team. The Optical Receptionist will be responsible for greeting patients, scheduling appointments, managing phone calls, processing insurance information, and assisting with administrative tasks in a busy optometry office.

**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Proven experience in a customer service or receptionist role
- Familiarity with medical or optical terminology preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in basic computer skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

**Responsibilities:**
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Schedule appointments and confirm appointments with patients
- Answer phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate person
- Verify insurance information and assist with billing inquiries
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and ordering office supplies

**Additional Requirements:**
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic work environment
- Prior experience working in an optometry or medical office is a plus
