The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for preparing, tracking and collecting all necessary information as it pertains to inbound and outbound orders. The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for facilitating the communication between production, sales, accounting and distribution stages.


Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Track all incoming containers and update inbound sheets
  • Collect all required paperwork for inbounds (import documents) including submitting required documents to customs and required information to Manfredi
  • Manage / Request all necessary AMS inspections, fumigations, juice tests
  • Ensure that all containers are customs / ocean released
  • Manage advance sheet (for merchandise and ocean freight)
  • Handle and Manage inbound claims (shipper, warehouse, port, steamship, etc)
  • Manage advances requests and submit to accounting for payments.
  • Manage container releases
  • Manage inbound inspections and staging (government inspections, fumigations, HDI, etc)
  • Manage all licenses renewals and compliance with authorities.
  • Open / create, confirm all POs – local and offshore
  • Create Manfredi receiving sheets
  • Receive all POs – advise if claims
  • Book all trucks for inbounds
  • Create pro-formas and CCI for Canadian loads
  • Book trucks for outbound orders
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Education:

  • High school graduate.
  • 2 years of clerical work experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
