Carolina Ophthalmology, PA is seeking a full-time ophthalmic assistant for our South Asheville, NC location, with occasional travel to other offices. Certification as a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant, eligible to take the COA exam, or optometry experience is preferred, but not required. Carolina Ophthalmology is a physician-owned practice with a commitment to excellence in eye care. We are willing to train the right person with a positive attitude and great work ethic. Candidates must be professional, motivated, dependable and have strong people skills. Previous ophthalmology experience is preferred but not required.

Carolina Ophthalmology is located in the beautiful Blue Ridge mountains of western North Carolina with primary offices in Hendersonville, Asheville, Skyland and Columbus, NC and satellite offices in Spruce Pine and Waynesville. The Practice is comprised of 9 physicians and approximately 80 employees. We offer a comprehensive benefit package; including employer-paid health, dental, and life insurance as well as 401k and profit sharing, vacation, sick and holiday pay.
