Key Responsibilities:

Patient Support:

  • Oversee the registration team with greeting patients in a fast paced setting with professionalism and empathy.
    • Provide accurate information about healthcare services, appointments, and general inquiries.
    • Assist patients in scheduling appointments and navigating the healthcare system.
    • Provide feedback to the registration team on calls and celebrate accomplishments.

Healthcare Professional Assistance:

  • Coordinate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal scheduling and follow-up planning.
    • Address inquiries related to care plans, financial obligations, insurance benefits, and out of pocket expenses.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to meet the staffing needs of healthcare facilities.
    • Collaborate with other leaders to determine necessary steps to achieving success in the department.

Insurance Verification:

  • Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility.
    • Oversee and lead the registration team in verifying insurance benefits and financial obligations.
    • Collaborate with billing and claims teams to resolve insurance-related issues.

Appointment Scheduling:

  • Oversee the Efficiently patient appointment scheduling process, coordinating with healthcare providers.
    • Manage appointment cancellations, rescheduling, and follow-up communications.
    • Ensure accurate and up-to-date scheduling information.

Documentation and Data Entry:

  • Accurately enter and update patient and healthcare professional information in the system.
    • Maintain detailed and organized records of calls, appointments, and inquiries.
    • Provide feedback to the registration team when information is entered incorrectly, celebrate wins when expectations are met.


Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a healthcare or medical setting.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex medical information in an understandable manner.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and basic understanding of healthcare processes.
  • Proficient in data entry and computer systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
