Pacific Reign Gymnastics is seeking an athletic, fun, and enthusiastic Gymnastics Floor Coordinator to join our team for evening and weekend classes If you have a passion for gymnastics and enjoy working with children, this role is perfect for you.

Responsibilities:

  • Recreational Class Coordination: Alongside the recreational gymnastics, tumbling and ninja coaching staff, ensure all recreational classes are run smoothly and efficiently. Assist with instruction and demonstration of gymnastics skills and techniques to children of all ages, primarily ages 2 through 14, ensuring a fun, safe, and engaging learning environment.
  • Set Up and Prepare Gym Rotations: Collaborate with the on-floor coaching staff to set up and organize equipment for drill stations, circuits and obstacle courses for all classes. Ensure the gym area is safe-proofed and well-prepared for all activities.
  • Spotting and Safety: Assist with spotting athletes during exercises and routines to ensure proper technique and prevent injuries. This role will also assist in the event that an accident occurs.
  • Substitute Coaching: Be available to substitute for any coach who is absent, maintaining consistency and quality of instruction.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Maintain a clean and orderly gym environment. Ensure all equipment is properly stored and maintained.
  • Supportive Environment: Foster a positive atmosphere that encourages learning and growth. Engage with children in a friendly and supportive manner to promote self-confidence and skill development.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with parents, staff, and the public regarding class updates, student progress, and any other relevant information.
  • Assist in Program Development: Collaborate with other coaches to develop innovative and fun lesson plans and activities.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in gymnastics is preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to work with children of all ages, particularly between 2 and 14 years old.
  • Reliable, responsible, and punctual with excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members.
  • Enthusiastic, energetic, and passionate about working with children in a gymnastics setting.

Schedule: 15-20 hours per week with the availability to work Saturday or Sunday
