What Does a Project Quotation Manager Do?
As a Project Quotations Manager with NICOR INC's National Accounts Team, you will play a pivotal role in bringing projects to fruition by meticulously analyzing requirements and crafting precise quotations. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will be at the forefront of ensuring the success of each project.
To excel as a Project Quotations Manager at NICOR INC, candidates must be proficient in project management and quotation software is crucial for efficiently managing project bids and ensuring accurate quotations. Effective communication and interpersonal abilities are key for seamless collaboration across departments, while the capability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment is vital.
Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
- Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, or Project Management, or a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in the lighting industry is strongly preferred
- A strong grasp of lighting products technologies and industry standards is essential, along with exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.
A proven track record in securing contracts through substantial project bids and a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification are advantageous assets for success in this role.
