Continental Services Group is a private, for-profit, biological manufacturing company serving the diagnostic and research industry for over 50 years. CSG provides blood and blood components to biotech companies around the world. We are looking for an individual to manage our Warehouse, Procurement and Equipment/Site Maintenance efforts. Main responsibilities for this position include purchasing of raw materials, receipt, quality control and distribution of goods, packaging/shipping of blood components, and strongcoordination and direction of a small warehouse staff with diverse responsibilities.


Role Responsibilities Include:


  • Oversee the purchase, receipt, and QC check of all incoming materials for operational use
    • Must pay special attention to ensure specifications of purchased materials meet CSG's needs, and are competitive priced
  • Oversee the packing and QC of outgoing shipments of blood products to both domestic and international customers
    • If/when deviations are identified, take appropriate steps for managing non-conforming material within the Quality Management System (QMS)
  • Coordinate operational equipment maintenance efforts at the Miami and Fort Lauderdale sites
  • Coordinate facilities maintenance efforts at the Miami and Fort Lauderdale sites
  • Effectively utilizing CSG's ERP system to effectively manage receipt and distribution of raw materials
  • Creating and/or editing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) to reflect Warehouse & Facilities processes
  • Managing activities and schedules of several warehouse employees to ensure most effective use of work hours, and addressing CSG's needs
  • Supervise and coordinate Warehouse personnel to ensure expectations–including daily, weekly and monthly tasks–are clearly defined and understood by the employees.
  • Oversee the receipt and Quality Control check of all materials received into the warehouse
  • Review and participate in revision of relevant Warehousing and Maintenance procedures; ensure SOP’s are relevant, accurate and followed in the department
  • Coordinate all outside services and facilities maintenance and repairs


Must Meet the Following Requirements:


  • Must be able to speak, read and write English fluently; Spanish fluency is a plus
  • Must be computer literate and effective in Microsoft Office; ERP experience highly preferred
  • Must have a valid Driver's License with a clear driving history
  • Must be able to lift 50+ lb. boxes on a regular basis and be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time
  • Preferably has had experience working in a Regulated Industry, and in Warehousing.
