Premium Plumbing in Tampa, FL is actively searching for a full-time Commercial Plumbing Project Estimator to join our team. This position is perfect for an individual who has experience as a 4-year apprentice or journeyman plumber

ABOUT PREMIUM PLUMBING

Our company was founded in 2015 by Master Plumber, Brad Pinkert, with over 25 years of experience. Upon opening, the company focus was mainly commercial plumbing. Since then, we have expanded into residential service plumbing which includes installations, repairs, water heater services, "go green" options, whole-house repipes, residential service calls, water treatment options, remodels, new construction, and more. We believe in building strong relationships with both our commercial and residential clients so that they can trust us with all of their plumbing needs.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A COMMERCIAL PLUMBING PROJECT ESTIMATOR

As a Commercial Plumbing Project Estimator, you gather vital information about potential projects in an effort to provide expert estimates of timelines, cost calculations, then create and present job proposals. You also generate submittals so that the correct products are installed on the project and prepare documentation, change orders, RFIs, and more. Thanks to your experience gained as an apprentice or journeyman plumber, you excel in this position

Your excellent communication and customer service skills help you successfully work with a variety of professionals in the field. You easily build a strong rapport with our customers. And, our project management knows that they can depend on your people skills, eye for detail, and organizational talents to ensure that projects go smoothly. Being the hard worker that you are helps our company to be successful and provides our clients with the best possible, long-lasting results.


QUALIFICATIONS OF A COMMERCIAL PLUMBING PROJECT ESTIMATOR

  • Have experience as a 4-year apprentice and/or journeyman plumber
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software
  • Experience with and knowledge of estimation programs such as FastPipe, BuildTrend software, and/or other construction-related software

Are you proud of your working knowledge of Florida building codes? Do you know how to properly apply them? Do you have an interest in construction and strong communication skills? Do you take pride in being a journeyman plumber who can easily build rapport with our clients? Can you be detail oriented as you follow our format and procedures? Are you good at working independently? Can you take advantage of value engineering opportunities? If so, we want you on our team
