Currently, we are seeing a Mechanical Project Manager to come in on current and new projects majority in the healthcare space to lead total construction efforts with the goal of keeping the project on budget, on schedule, and aligned with the company values. This Project Manager will oversee the technical and administrative management of projects by client to the Mechanical and Plumbing scopes.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent combination of previous construction and/or engineering project management experience
  • Minimum of 6 years of construction management, estimating, and trade supervision
  • Experience in Healthcare or Large Hospital construction
  • Mechanical Project Management experience
  • Knowledge of all aspects of construction such as technology, equipment, estimating, scheduling, and safety, is required


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervise total construction effort to ensure the project is constructed in accordance with design specifications, budgets, and includes interfacing with client representatives
  • Conduct pre-construction and post-construction
  • Complete job cost breakdowns and schedule of values
  • Review and approve all projects
  • Schedule and coordinate the completion of submittal data, operation and maintenance manuals, shop drawings, and as-built drawings in accordance with the construction
  • Supervise trade employees and/or other subcontractors as required
  • Provide technical assistance, i.e., engineering, interpretation of drawings, recommendation of construction methods and equipment, etc.
  • Conduct on-site visits/inspections to understand the productivity of trades, efficient use of materials and equipment, and contractual performance
  • Provide field employees with the necessary support to allow the project to be completed.
  • Attend weekly project management meetings and provide project status on those items directly related to the job
