The Yard Specialist is a Certified Motor Vehicle Operator that operates primarily out of the truck yard at the G&C Foods facility. The Yard Specialist is responsible for the fleet of trucks and trailers including placement, inspection, and general maintenance of the equipment.

Essential Functions:
Performs daily yard equipment inventory at the start of each shift
Transports equipment to and from maintenance garages as needed
Updates dispatch board in Operations as needed
Cleans trailers internally before loading of product
Change DEF as needed
Empty garbage bin near fuel station as needed
Performs other functions as needed or directed by Transportation Management
Educational Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED preferred
NYS CDL-A preferred
