This company has been a master converter and distributor of sign vinyl films, digital media, overlaminates, banner, and heat transfer films in the sign/graphic industry since 1988. Shipping Job Summary:2nd Shift: 12pm to 8:30pm- Monday through Friday*2nd shift employees MUST be able to do training for at least a week on 1st shift 8am-4:30Pay Rate: $15.00/hr.
  • Stock and Pull inventory.
  • Working knowledge of computers for daily BOL update to Excel documents
  • Confirm boxed orders match customer, product, and shipping method.
  • Process completed orders based on priority commitment to meet the FDC guarantee delivery.
  • Secure multiple packages with zip machine to ensure proper bulk shipping dimensions.
  • Box orders requiring special packing.
  • Coordinate with Customer Service on any order errors or missing shipping information
  • Coordinate with Production on missed orders in the shipping que but not found in shipping department.
  • Set up and stage shipment orders per shipping logistics vendor.
  • Daily safety check of shipping equipment, machinery, belts, shelving, lifts, pallets, and report any maintenance required.
  • Daily 5S at workstation and throughout warehouse
  • Other duties as assigned to flex to other departments.
Shipping Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • PREVIOUS SHIPPING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
    • Effective prioritization and multitask.
    • Attention to detail and precision.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to meet high production demands.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel preferred
  • Ability to read, write and perform basic math and tape measurements.
  • Ability to see color.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 to 75 lbs. regularly.
  • Gripping/Grasping hand tools regularly throughout your shift.
  • Standing, bending, and stooping regularly throughout your shift.
  • Must be able to work occasional mandatory weekend overtime.
  • Previous experience working with distributors and or knowledge of graphic arts or sign industry a plus but not required.
