Job Summary: We are seeking a passionate and experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor or Licensed Play Therapist with a proven track record in overseeing the daily operations of a growing community-based outpatient program that provides therapy to a diverse clientele. As a part of our Leadership Team, you have a growth mindset, a caring heart, and the strong desire to improve the quality of life for all members of the central PA community. You love the transformational power of behavioral health and want to maintain a client caseload to stay connected to the work. You have a background in the implementation, administration, budgeting, delivery of and evaluation of counseling services, compliance oversight, and the ability to help your staff achieve success every day.

Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Social Work with licensure as an LCSW or Masters or PhD in another Human Service profession as well as an LPC or LMFC A minimum of three years of professional experience in a supervisory role within a mental health outpatient setting. Person must also have an independent Pennsylvania license to the highest level available in the state. Ability to communicate effectively with clients and family members, staff, collateral agency workers, and referral sources. Individuals should be able to organize their work and communicate effectively orally and in writing. We seek candidates with knowledge of the Jewish religion, community and culture.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

This position will report to the Chief Program Officer, and will be charged to:

· Provide both administrative and clinical supervision to Mynd Works licensed therapists

· Recruit, hire and train new staff

· Develop, manage and implement departmental budget to ensure staff are meeting weekly and monthly goals

· Collaborate with front desk and billing staff to ensure smooth systems and clear communication to clients

· Maintain a billable caseload of between 8-12 clients a week

· Promote JFS and its services in community forums and build partnerships with other community-based organizations, and identify service gaps for program development

· Develop and enforce policies for outpatient counseling department

· Monitor and update electronic health records system

· Ensure that all therapists and the agency is properly credentialled with insurance payors

· Participate in leadership team meetings to provide clear direction for mental health services for JFS, including mental health services for refugees

· Oversight and provision of clinical supervision for staff toward licensure, both in Mynd Works and in other program areas

· Adhere to standards, procedures and schedules established by the CEO, CPO, and insurance payors

· Develop and implement community marketing?and events that promote, and address community needs around mental health and wellness that supports Jewish Family Service’s mission statement

· Responsible for 24/7 on-call responsibility one weekend every 4-6 weeks on a rotating basis and for planned vacations for Family Based Mental Health staff and related program support

· Perform other duties as assigned by the agency CPO or CEO
