POSITION SUMMARY
At Cardinal Ritter Senior Services, we value providing superior customer service and are committed to the successful operation of our information technology systems. We are seeking a qualified IT help desk technician to assist with questions and problems concerning phones/cell phones/networking/hardware/software/printer issues. Standout candidates will be excellent problem-solvers with outstanding communication and customer service skills.
OVERVIEW & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Respond to tech inquiries via ticket system, email, chats, phone or in person - understand some of our customers are Senior age level - must keep your word and explain tech to them so they understand fixes.
- Help with troubleshooting hardware and software and deliver clear, step-by-step instructions "Create a How To". If possible, think about how to automate the process. We don't expect you to know everything...that's why we research issues and solutions.
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Comprehensive knowledge of computer systems and experience troubleshooting hardware and software - We are a Microsoft operation, as such we use Teams, Defender, Purview, O365, SharePoint, Entra ID...etc. We are looking to move into the Azure Cloud soon, if you have any certification with Microsoft, that is a huge plus.
Patient, friendly demeanor with a great aptitude for listening - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Commitment to providing exceptional customer service
SKILLS & ATTITUDES REQUIRED FOR SUCCESS IN JOB
- 2 year's experience in Active Directory or an Associate Degree in Information Technology or related field or having Microsoft Certifications above.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Somebody that is looking for career growth - this position has huge potential moving forward. Nice Blue Jeans and an ironed Polo shirt dress code, unless meeting with clients or formal meetings/training. This is a very low stress work environment - We do not touch or reboot equipment, unless signed off by Management. We are bringing higher standards and professionalism back to the IT Department. We want somebody that has this mindset. We are interested in providing solutions for the next 10 years, not what will work right now. Team-oriented mindset with an openness to constructive feedback - We all have our strengths and weaknesses; we all need to be willing to learn...it's what makes us better. Eagerness to learn new technologies and systems - We want you to get Microsoft Certified and will give time, as it permits on the job to study.
