Job Summary
The Landscape Architect is a key member of our team, responsible for leading and managing complex landscape architecture projects from inception to completion. This role requires a combination of strong design skills, project management expertise, and client relationship management to deliver exceptional results
Responsibilities and Duties
- Serve as lead designer/planner on a variety of project scales.
- Lead design concepts from initial planning through detailed design and construction administration.
- Demonstrate leadership by driving project success through exceptional design, documentation, planning, business development, and/or project management.
- Collaborate effectively with diverse teams, clients, and the public.
- Foster mentorship and development of junior staff.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture.
- Licensed Landscape Architect (or ability to obtain licensure).
- 5+ years of landscape architecture experience.
- Proven project management skills, including experience with project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD or AutoCAD Civil 3D, Rhino or Sketchup, Adobe Creative Suite
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Past experience in planning and developing projects from the conceptual design phase through construction documentation.
Desired Skills
- Experience in sustainable design and LEED certification.
- Knowledge of construction practices and materials.
- Experience in business development and proposal writing.
