Position Overview:

We are looking for a Revit Manager to join our MEP BIM team in New York. An ideal candidate is someone who has experience integrating graphic design concepts into their 3D renderings and visual representations, enhancing our client presentations


This role is a career development position; you will conduct work assignments of increasing complexity and contribute to team objectives and outcomes. It could be a fantastic opportunity for someone who has architectural design or BIM experience and is looking for a slight career change; or an MEP designer who has an interest in Revit design.

The Role:

In your role as Revit Manager, you will prepare three dimensional renderings and visual representations used in client meetings to provide a graphical storyboard of MEP systems design, collaboration and overall experience.


This role is perfect for a candidate who started their career in Architectural Design but are looking to change industries. You will be performing similar responsibilities and using your already impressive skillset.

Requirements:


Education: Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, architecture, or similar discipline, or technical certificate program


Experience:

  • 8 + years of Revit experience a must have
  • 5 years overseeing a BIM team
  • Proficient with 3D renderings and graphics design
  • Advanced proficiency in BIM software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks)
  • Graphic design experience, whether working knowledge or self-taught ideal.; we will train on Enscape and Adobe Illustrator if you do not have experience already
  • Demonstrated experience in parametric design and coding skills in Revit Dynamo Script
  • Previous experience with an architectural/engineering or engineering consulting firm
  • Strong understanding of industry standards, codes, and regulations, related to BIM
  • Be able to develop 3-D Revit MEP models for various building types from Architectural Revit models and AutoCAD drawing files
  • Proficiency in data management and collaboration tools like BIM 360
  • Knowledge of simulation tools for energy modeling IES VE and ICT network design
  • Ability to work with multi-discipline project production teams
  • Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills

Salary: $120 – 135k per year (bonus eligible)

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but is not limited to, relevant experience, time in the role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
