Are you a customer service professional looking for a great opportunity in insurance? You might be a perfect fit for our open insurance customer service representative role. You'll be in charge of answering phones, resolving billing issues, processing payments, and amending policies. Additional tasks include assisting our sales teams with day-to-day activities and generating policy quotes. Compensation:

$14 - $15 hourly

Responsibilities:
  • Keep track of all customer inquiries and follow up to verify that all questions are answered regarding customer policies
  • Make accurate modifications to consumer policies depending on the information supplied
  • Validate client insurance coverage and present policyholders with proof of insurance documents
  • Communicate with the customers about complaints, give acceptable solutions, and follow up to ensure that the problem was fixed
  • Respond to incoming calls concerning policy and insurance coverage concerns, as well as customer complaints and general questions
  • Assist the sales team by following up with customers for required documentation, submitting documents to underwriting, mailing policy packages, etc.
Qualifications:
  • Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office and customer relationship management software
  • Prior work in a customer-facing position or customer service role is required
  • Display strong communication skills, active listening skills, and personal skills
  • Knowledge of insurance products and policy schedules is preferred
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent needed
  • Hold an active 4-40 (Insurance Customer Service Representative license) or are willing to obtain one within the first 30 days of employment
  • Bilingual with fluency in English and Spanish
