Corrigan Krause is currently assisting one of their client’s, in the search for an AP (Accounts Payable) Coordinator. Our Client has been in the general contracting business for over 20 years, specializing in construction projects with a-typical specifications, working extensively with government agencies.


As the AP Coordinator, you will be responsible for interacting with subcontractors, customers and team members, ensuring that accounting procedures are followed appropriately in specific regards to accounts payable and invoices. Our client is looking for someone who will bring positive energy and a willingness to help their other team members.

Requirements:

Responsibilities

· Processing Accounts Payable

· Preparing and entering invoices

· Ensuring Subcontractors submit COI, W-9 & Workers Compensation

· Audit Certified Payroll

· Assist the Accounting Manager with special projects as needed

· Create and implement accounting procedures, including filing systems to ensure easy to find information

· Office coordinator duties are required


Requirements

· Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related preferred

· 2+ years of Construction Accounting experience is required

· Microsoft Office Suite and Foundations software is a must

· Effective writing and communication skills

· Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.

· Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with fluctuating priorities and deadlines.
