Simpatico Systems is a locally owned, rapidly expanding, technology focused company seeking Experienced Field Service Technicians to work with our lead technicians and project teams. Some overnight travel will be required.


If you have a strong work ethic, you’re motivated and looking for a change … we might have the path. Candidates must pass a background check, drug screen and be insurable.


What you’ll do:

We are looking for talented individuals to join our team as a Field Service Technician II. As a key part of the team, the Field Service Technician installs and repairs Security, Life Safety, Audio and Video equipment.


What you’ll do:

  • Install, service, troubleshoot, repair, and perform maintenance on products and equipment at customer sites.
  • Keep track of your service calls via company paid cell phone and laptop, including products serviced, work performed, hours and parts utilized.
  • Maintain an accurate parts inventory at levels that insure a first time fix.
  • Demonstrate and train customers how to use their equipment properly.
  • Keep your manager in the loop about your customer's satisfaction, any potential sales opportunities or any recurring problems.
  • Take care of other tasks as needed


What We Look For:

  • Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Highly organized, strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently.
  • General knowledge of electronics required.
  • Willing to obtain or have State License as required. (State Dependent)
  • Must have a mechanical aptitude and be able to use hand and power tools.
  • Capable of performing physical labor to include carrying and moving equipment and tools up to 50-70 lbs.
  • Able to work in unusual and sometimes difficult position such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, and high lift equipment up to 40 feet, working within ducts, crawl spaces, above ceilings, etc.
  • Must be capable of working independently or as a team
  • Excellent written and oral skills
  • Ability to travel and work overtime as needed


Preferred Skills:

  • Previous Alarm, Surveillance, fiber, electrical and/or other low voltage experience is required
  • Associate degree in Electronics and/or Networking, or technical military equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to perform service on more than a single complete integrated solution
