COMPENSATION

  • Starting pay: $18/hour
  • Pay raises within the first year based on experience and IICRC certifications
  • Opportunities for additional pay include:
    • Project-related efficiency bonuses (based on job cost and allocated labor)
    • Overtime pay: hourly rate increases to 1.5x
  • Opportunities for career growth and advancement
  • Opportunities for leadership and/or office roles if interested


HOURS

  • Full-time
  • Overtime likely
  • Sundays off
  • On-call schedule: rotating after-hours and Saturdays


JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Disaster Restoration Technician with ServiceMaster of Colorado Springs, you will learn a wide variety of transferable skills related to maintenance, construction, leadership, and customer service. Specific job responsibilities include:

  • Perform water/mold/fire/smoke/bio (trauma) remediation as directed according to company procedures including but not limited to extraction, debris removal/disposal, demolition and cleaning
  • Use industry software with provided electronic device
  • Set up remediation equipment on site
  • Notify project manager of customer or project issues as they arise
  • Keep accurate digital timesheet records
  • Maintain personal safety with PPE provided
