Headquartered minutes from downtown Pittsburgh and with additional facilities in West Virginia, we sell, rent, service, and rebuild the most unique selection of custom and heavy-duty material handling equipment in the industry. Our technicians and in-house capabilities enable us to tackle jobs that no other shop can handle.

We are currently seeking an experienced freight Dispatcher whose primary responsibility will be to schedule freight for our transportation group, CICKO, based out of our Coraopolis, PA shop.  Applicant must have a proven record in a service or logistics environment. This is a full-time day position.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Schedule freight deliveries and pickups of equipment, parts, and other loads
  • Schedule drivers, plan routes, and dispatch drivers to customer locations
  • Prepare dispatch documents, as well as freight bills and invoices
  • Log customer shipping schedules, complaints, and review drivers' logs
  • Work with Transportation Management Software (TMS)
  • Available for occasional after-hours calls
REQUIREMENTS
  • At least two years of experience as a freight or truck dispatcher; 3-5 years of experience preferred
  • Ability to work under pressure is essential
  • Knowledge of applicable transportation regulations and laws
  • Experience with DAT load boards
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • High school diploma or equivalency
