PING, Inc., maker of PING golf equipment, is seeking a Software Quality Assurance Analyst to improve software quality and implement industry best practices in developing test plans/scenarios/cases/scripts to ensure appropriate test coverage. Execute testing based on documented test cases and make sure applications test meet the project owners defined business requirements. Ensure that Digital Services’ software is properly tested across all applications. This position requires the candidate to reside in the Phoenix Metro Area, relocation assistance will be provided.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Execute API testing, UI testing, and back-end testing, employing diverse testing methodologies.
  • Develop proficiency as a Quality Assurance Analyst by acquiring and applying essential skills.
  • Design, create and execute both manual and automated tests.
  • Test for multi-browsers platforms including tablet and mobile.
  • Lead a move to automation, enhancing efficiency and product quality.
  • Assist Product Owners with preparation for testing prior to approving software for use in Production.
  • Report on and track defects in Jira. Document issues, collaborate with developers for resolutions and communicate defects to product owners.
  • Partner with developers and designers to embed quality in every stage of software development.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or a minimum 2 years’ experience in software or database testing, software development or another role in the IT field; OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent oral and written communication, analytical, interpersonal and team skills.
  • Detail oriented with excellent organization and time management skills.
  • Self-starter who meets professional obligations through efficient work habits such as, meeting deadlines, honoring schedules, coordinating resources and meetings in an effective and timely manner, and demonstrating respect for others.
  • Must maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion.
  • Knowledge of PING product line and processes is a plus.
  • Must have the ability to work on multiple projects with cross functional teams simultaneously.
  • Possess an intermediate level of computer literacy in MS Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Teams and Excel).
  • Knowledge of Jira, Adobe Commerce and Infor ERP is a plus.
  • Experience with agile/scrum development processes.
  • API and webservice testing experience are preferred.
