Reports To: Director Trade Planning and Consumer Insights

Location: Downers Grove, IL

Position Summary: We are looking for an analytically minded and customer focused individual to support our North American Sales team You will be leading the development of internal processes & execution of customer setup, customer requirements, MAP monitoring, & the Instant Pot Brands proprietary Sales planning system. You will also assist with item set up functions within retailer specific portals for the team and interact daily with cross functional team members from Sales, Customer Service, Operations, Finance, Supply/Demand & IT. This role is an opportunity to conduct extensive sales analysis and demonstrate proficiency in Excel, Powerpoint & Sharepoint.

What will you do?

Internal System and Process Responsibilities

  • Process, analyze and provide insights into monthly Circana syndicated sales data for our products and retail partners as well as ad hoc reports as needed.
  • Run and analyze weekly/monthly SAP reports to provide Sales & internal teams updated gross sales, trade spending, customer contacts, etc.
  • Be the point of contact for all sales related trade spend management issues for field sales, including training, maintaining promotional events, and working with IT to ensure problems are resolved in a timely fashion
  • Gatekeeper for customer setup, review internal and external procedures that may be required for customer completion. Maintain updated sales coding/customer lists in SAP
  • Assist in the implementation, tracking and compliance of all price change activity.
  • Administer and monitor MAP policy to ensure Instant Brands premium products are supported appropriately within their marketplace.
  • Own the Sales Operations SharePoint site, ensuring that process documents, selling materials and other resources are consistently up to date and accessible to all customer teams (inclusive of pricing and go to market documents)
  • External Sales Analyst Support
  • Provide support to specific Sales Channels/Account Managers
    1. Item setup within retailer portal systems/RFQ support for new item considerations
    2. Vendor set up / PO Management
    3. POS reporting/analytics
    4. Sample management and support for customer meetings
    5. SAP/BW/BI reporting and analytics
    6. Manage and attend trade shows as needed
  • This position is not static and will be revised as the need of the organization’s business evolves.

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 2-3+ years of Sales Analyst/Operations or similar experience
  • Strong familiarity with SAP
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Access, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.
  • Strong communication and prioritization skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Ability to collaborate and lead cross-functionally
  • This is a full-time/ exempt position that is not eligible for overtime
