Responsibilities: Participate as an integral member of the process design team for a new industrial manufacturing facility in Fort Worth, TX. Prepare engineering sketches and specifications as it relates to the construction, relocation, and installation of equipment, products, and systems throughout the new facility. Work in partnership with the broader engineering design team to serve as the electronic system subject matter expert in the creation of automated processes with an integrated process flow. Engage with both equipment suppliers and equipment integrators to discuss existing or potential electronics engineering projects or products, ensure efficient and functional data collection, controls, and automation infrastructure throughout the facility. Work closely with the environment, health & safety (EHS) functions to ensure that all work is done to ensure world class health and safety, and in full compliance with relevant environmental regulations. Develop, design, deploy, troubleshoot, and maintain networked industrial automation systems. Cooperate with IT to ensure cybersecurity and compliance/consistency with corporate best practices. Define, Implement, and enforce applicable standards and best practices to the control, automation and network design, and commissioning for a new facility´s electronic equipment while interacting with stakeholders to achieve a common goal. Coordinate vendors and integrate efforts towards the completion of each project in time and within budget. Document all work by preparing technical reports to ensure seamless handoff to end users. Lead and support continuous improvement activities to produce ongoing, meaningful improvements to worker safety, process uptime, and product quality by providing technical support or instruction to staff regarding electronics equipment standards.

Educ./experience: Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related engineering field and 5 years of post-baccalaureate experience within the control engineering field. Experience must include RSLogix 5K, RSLogix 5, RSLogix 500, RSLinx, RSNetworks. Tia Portal, Panel Builder. Modsoft, Concept, Unity Pro, Advantys, and SAP.
