Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDescriptionThe Operations Coordinator will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations at our Mojave test site location. Acting as the primary point of contact for contractors and visitors this individual will be responsible for managing various tasks to support the efficiency and functionality of the site and the productivity and well-being of employees.

This position is temporary, with a duration of 3 months.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as the point of contact for guests, contractors, and visitors at the Mojave test site, this means meeting them at the Mojave Air and Space Port gates and guiding them the test site
  • Manage the company's Airbnb calendar, coordinating and ensuring timely communication with employees arriving and departing
  • Coordinate house cleaning services to maintain cleanliness and organization at the Airbnb property
  • Coordinate company-provided food and beverages, including ordering, pick up, and restocking
  • Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, including receiving deliveries and preparing shipments 


Minimum Qualifications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with guests, contractors, and team members
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and willingness to take on new challenges


Preferred Skills and Experience
  • Previous experience in a similar operations or coordination role is preferred
  • Experience driving a forklift is preferred
  • Knowledge of the Mojave area and surrounding amenities is a plus
Additional Information:

Compensation bands are determined by role, level, location, and alignment with market data. Individual level and base pay is determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related skills, education, experience, technical capabilities and internal equity. In addition to base salary, for full-time hires, you may also be eligible for long-term incentives, in the form of stock options, and access to medical, vision & dental coverage as well as access to a 401(k) retirement plan.


To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) you must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
