The Director, Product Marketing is a key strategic leader responsible for driving the successful go-to-market strategy and ongoing product marketing strategy for our product portfolio. This role will work closely with the product, marketing, and sales teams to develop and execute compelling product marketing strategies that drive revenue growth and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Product P&L Management: Monitor and analyze product profitability, revenue performance, and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and optimization.
  • Product Positioning and Messaging: Develop compelling product positioning and messaging that effectively communicates the unique value propositions and differentiates our products from competitors. Ensure consistent messaging across all marketing channels.
  • Target Market Identification: Conduct market research to identify and understand the target market, including their needs, wants, and preferences.
  • Go-to-Market Strategy: Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new product launches or feature updates, including distribution channels, promotional plans, and pricing strategies.
  • Product Marketing Strategy: Create comprehensive marketing, media, advertising, and promotional strategies to drive product awareness, engagement, and conversions.
  • Product Marketing Campaigns: Develop and execute product marketing campaigns, including managing timelines, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and tracking campaign performance.
  • Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research to gather insights on market trends, competitive landscape, and customer behavior to inform product strategy and marketing efforts.
  • Customer Retention Programs: Develop and implement loyalty programs and customer retention strategies to foster long-term relationships and drive repeat business.
  • Strategic Partnership: Serve as a strategic partner to the product team, providing market insights, competitive analysis, and go-to-market guidance to inform product development and roadmap decisions.

Requirements:

  • At least 12 years of experience in product marketing or marketing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
  • Extensive experience in driving revenue growth through multi-channel marketing
  • A proven track record of building and leading successful marketing teams of 5+ members managing a portfolio of brands
  • Extremely revenue oriented, highly analytical, data driven, and tech savvy
  • Exceptional communication, project and change management skills
  • Thrive in a fast paced and high pressure environment
  • This position requires 50+ hours per week on average
