Key Responsibilities:
  • Billing & Coding: Ensure accurate and timely billing and coding for obstetrics and gynecology services, including office visits, procedures, and surgeries.
  • Insurance Claims: Review and submit insurance claims, verify coding accuracy, and ensure compliance with billing regulations. Communicate effectively with insurance carriers to resolve claim-related issues.
  • Patient Statements: Generate patient statements, process payments, and address billing inquiries, providing clear explanations of charges and payment options to enhance the patient financial experience.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience in medical billing and coding, with a preference for experience in Women's Health
  • Skills: Proficiency with ECW (eClinicalWorks) strongly preferred.
  • EMR Proficiency: Experience with ECW is highly desirable.
