We are looking for someone with an enthusiastic and motivated personality to join our team as a Commercial Lines Account Manager. As part of this role, your main responsibility will be maintaining regular communication with clients, addressing their needs and concerns effectively, and implementing strategies to promote client retention. For this role, the ideal candidate must possess prior experience in commercial lines insurance and a valid Property and Casualty license. This combination of qualifications ensures you have the necessary knowledge and credentials to excel in this position. The base salary for this position ranges from $40,000 to $60,000 per year, depending on the level of experience.

Responsibilities
- Build loyalty and trust in the customer-business relationship to increase overall value and retention.
- Help clients understand and navigate their insurance policies. Be available to address any questions or concerns they may have regarding their insurance plans.
- Provide customers with the correct information to make informed decisions about their insurance coverage.
- Reach out to clients promptly to ensure consistent communication.
- Identify coverage gaps and customize policy recommendations
- In everyday operations, use computer systems to process premium payments, review and update policies, handle claims, and make endorsements.
- Maintain the information's confidentiality, integrity, and security, safeguarding both individuals' privacy and the organization's reputation.
- Will occasionally work with new businesses
Requirements
- Michigan Property and Casualty Insurance License REQUIRED.
- 2+ years of Commercial Lines Insurance experience
- 1+ years of face-to-face sales/customer service experience (phone sales, real estate, banking, inside or outside sales, luxury retail sales, collection agencies, car sales, lenders, servers, bartenders)
- Experience with Agency Management Systems (AMS) and TAM insurance software is a BONUS
- Microsoft Office Suite knowledge
- Work experience in an office environment, using a multiline phone system and computer software. Proficient typing/data entry skills.
- Demonstrate professionalism in all aspects of communication - verbal, written, or in-person - to maintain a positive working atmosphere and promote efficient communication.
- Multitasking, prioritizing tasks, and resolving problems quickly and accurately with strong attention to detail, speed, and accuracy.
