Join our team at St. David's Foundation as our Digital Communications Officer and be a part of advancing health equity in Central Texas.

We are seeking an experienced and innovative digital marketing professional to bring forward new ways of leveraging St. David's Foundation's voice and position in Central Texas and across the larger nonprofit and philanthropic communities. This role will oversee the Foundation's social media profiles, audience database, and WordPress websites. This role is central to shaping the external voice of St. David's Foundation bringing best practice digital solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest and demonstrated experience in social media, content development, analytics, and content management systems.

The Digital Communications Officer supports strategic communications efforts designed to increase awareness of St. David's Foundation's mission and work in Central Texas. The Digital Communications Officer will lead the development and execution of social media, community engagement, email marketing, and website management for the Foundation. This role works collaboratively with the Communications team to develop and implement digital and content strategies that further the work of our organization.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, public relations or related field; or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on digital marketing and social media experience in developing and executing cross-channel (email/CRM, social media, content) with project ownership responsibility.
  • Demonstrated experience in supporting the execution of strategic digital marketing efforts.
  • Knowledge of and experience with various marketing platforms, channels, and best practices, including social, digital, and email marketing.
  • Knowledge and experience with WordPress, CMS website updating, Canva, Google Analytics, Adobe Creative Suite, and social media, tools, technologies and analytics.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as outstanding copywriting and proofreading skills.
  • Skilled in capturing photo and video content for use on social media, websites and marketing materials.
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams and PowerPoint.
  • Willingness and ability to travel to multiple locations within Central Texas, including some nights and weekends.
